Overview
As a midwestern kid growing up in a raggedy old farmhouse, illustration is what initially led me to design. Whether it’s drawing in a sketchbook, painting in Photoshop or playing around with Illustrator’s newest 3D tools, few things scratch my creative itch more than illustration. Sometimes it’s a piece about the stress I’ve been feeling at work lately. Sometimes it’s just a cool nickname I saw on a restaurant TV late one night. Whatever the piece may be, it starts out as a kernel of an idea that simply won’t go away until it’s made real.
